Multicolours' launch graft campaign on Yingluck
Multicolours' launch graft campaign on Yingluck
The so-called "multicolour" shirts Friday launched a signature campaign to initiate graft proceedings against Pheu Thai candidate Yingluck Shinawatra and her brother Thaksin Shinawatra.
The campaign, spearheaded by Tul Sitthisomwong, will set up a table to solicit signatures at Thammasat University on June 18.
Tul said he wanted the Department of Special Investigation to probe Yingluck as a nominee in the asset concealment case involving ex-PM Thaksin and his family.

Anything they can do to ensure a one-sided election.

Interesting how the "multicolours" always seem to do the Yellow's bidding.

Yingluck 'unfazed' by perjury complaint
Published: 6/06/2011 at 01:49 PM
Online news: Local News
Yingluck Shinawatra, the No.1 Pheu Thai party list candidate, said on Monday she is not worried by a move by a civic group to charge her with perjury in connection with the assets seizure case against her brother Thaksin Shinawatra.
Tul Sitthisomwong, leader of the Network of Citizen Volunteers Protecting the Land, said on Friday that a complaint would be filed against her with the Department of Special Investigation.
Ms Yingluck said she was ready to be scrutinised within the framework of the law.
Asked about Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva's accusation that Pheu Thai was implementing a four-step plan to amnesty Thaksin, Ms Yingluck said she did not want the amnesty issue to be overplayed.
The amnesty would not be intended to benefit her brother or herself.
An amnesty law would be jointly discussed by all concerned when the time was right and the people's opinion must also be taken for consideration, Ms Yingluck said.
Noppadon Pattama, a close aide of Thaksin, denied Pheu Thai had a four-step plan as claimed by Mr Abhisit.
He believed the matter had been made up to smear Ms Yingluck and Pheu Thai candidates whose popularity was growing.
Pheu Thai's legal team would look into Mr Abhisit's allegation to decide whether to take legal against the prime minister, Mr Noppadon said.

P.Thai: Yingluck being persecuted
Published: 6/06/2011 at 01:11 PM
Online news:
The Pheu Thai Party on Monday accused a civic group led by Tul Sitthisomwong of persecuting Yingluck Shinawatra, the party's No 1 list candidate, by planning to file a complaint with the Department of Special Investigation against her.
Dr Tul, leader of the multi-colour group that campaigned against the red-shirts, the Network of Citizen Volunteers Protecting the Land, on Friday announce a plan to lodge a complaint with the DSI against Ms Yingluck in connection with the assets seizure case against her brother Thaksin Shinawatra.
Yongyuth Wichaidit, the Pheu Thai leader, said the party knew about the move beforehand and had been prepared for it.
He believed this matter would not affect the party's popularity, but the party would instead gain sympathy votes.
Deputy party leader Plodprasop Surasawadee said the party's core members supported Ms Yingluck in fighting the move against her by Dr Tul and Kaewsan Atipho, former member of the dissolved Assets Scrutiny Committee.
He claimed the Democrat Party was a collaborator in the plan.
Mr Plodprasop called for the Democrat Party to place stress on policies in its campaigning.
Ms Yingluck was being persecuted and she would certainly get sympathy votes, he said.

Re: Multicolours' launch graft campaign on Yingluck
Wouldnt it be a refreshing change if all these politicians who want to win actually put their efforts into developing new and effective policies. All the mud slinging will probably not sway the ideology of most voters but good policy and the message of "what can we offer YOU" might make far more difference to the election result.
