I will be entering Thailand with a double entry tourist visa, and so will need to leave the country to use the second entry. I figure the two easiest places to leave the country will be either at Aranya Prathet or Hat Lek (In Trat Province), both ofcoarse crossing into Cambodia.

If anyone could tell me which is the easier of the two, and any other good advice for crossing into Cambodia and back out, you would make my day =)

    Thanks for the help everyone.

You can get from Ekamai bus station (Bangkok) to Trat in a day, then from Trat take the minibus to the border. The minibuses wait at a taxi stand near the bus station. Walk out of the bus station and turn right, you will be there in 50 paces or less. Take the minibus to Hat Let; that is the border town.

I think the border closes at 5:00 PM. You will need some small photos for a Cambodian Visa, and 1,000THB + 100 THB tip. There is not much the other side of the border, just a casino. Most Thai’s make this trip to go to the casino.

I had a friend that lived in Trat. Whenever he needed to renew, he'd just rent a motorbike and drive himself out to camboida on his bike (20-30minutes) and cross over for an hour and come back.

    Re: Visa run into cambodia

For me the best place to do visa crossing was Pong Nam Ron, it was really quiet! all done in about 25 mins been there many times, try this http://teakdoor.com/thai-visas-and-v...-thailand.html i used to drive there myself from sattahip but i know there is visa run buses that go there.
