It was a tongue-in-cheek referral to what you said to Marie in another thread about how life in SG is mostly "workworkworkwork" - was joking that I took a direct quotation from you and hence have to give due reference! 5555

Trust me, I know exactly what you mean.

I probably like all 3 equally. They are slightly different styles, the Peck song maybe is a bit more luscious sounding and so more the modern pop style in a way. But it still has that direct melodic sense with that anthemic chorus which I see as being a part of Thai pop music. The Airbourne song rocks a lot more and I like that as it's a nice change from the more restrained Thai songs (which of course I love). And the Anne Song is just like a good graceful Thai drama ballad, but definitely among the best of those I think. And as the standard among drama ballads seems pretty high for me I'd rate it among the very best of her songs. The Peck song with the beautiful production and vocal surely has an immediate emotional impact though. I'd guess they are all love songs like most popular music, but in a way I'm not sure the words matter that much, the music and performance make them universal I feel and so appealing to me.

I was introduced to this song and have been hearing it for quite a while now, maybe an year. But the problem for me, is that I get a deja-vu feeling with this song. I feel I have heard it longlong back but it should not be possible because I never heard thai songs before then. But I swear I know this song forever!!!..

Maybe you have a strong karmic connection with the band players in a last life
