Re: What's r Fav SEA Country After Thailand?
well for one I never understood why a Budapest (or Vienna) - Bangkok return ticket has a very different price from the other way round (same airline), or, rather, I guess I am refusing all possible explanations as totally fake.

Mm...that's weird. THE TEMASEK REVIEW EMERITUS as being announced by the state news media that the webbie is going to close down around July this year?
Franklin D. Roosevelt - The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.

I'm waiting for fileeep, johny and David comment about why they voted for Vietnam, then i will tell u why someone like Betti's afraid abt traveling to Vietnam and someone'r very happy with it. Of course it's not that friendly like in Thai for tourist, but it's not that worst.

Re: What's r Fav SEA Country After Thailand?
you will tell me why I don't want to travel to Vietnam? :-) I haven't been. I have heard countless stories about being ripped off at each and every step, and hardly any positive memories to balance it. several friends also said that Phang Nga bay is easily as nice as Halong bay, leaving even one less reason. I'm just no good at being totally overcharged. a little, I don't care, but multiple times the normal price even for trains and buses, nope, forget it.

Re: What's r Fav SEA Country After Thailand?
That's what i want to say, i dont know why the ppl must pay multiple times :-?? Many traps for tourists, it's true but it's almost up to u when u'r going there. If u'r going within a mind that it's just like Thailand and be ripped off, it's the correct what the VN Government must change to get the tourists become better.
Becoz many ppl also fall in love with VN like Thai (sure that there's much less than Thai) but they must have reasons. Actually sometimes even Vietnamese like me, also dont like how the ppl act with the tourist (even they r Vietnamese lol). But there'r still many good things if u r well prepared abt the culture there and know what really need to do for good, it will be good.
I will post more abt it on different topic for the informations to travel there (with good) later when i was at home. I planned to post many times when billyboy asked for it but so many informations need to gather, hope i could finish posting it soon.

Re: What's r Fav SEA Country After Thailand?
Spiritvyn, did you vote for any country?

I have not been here for a few days until I saw you post today. I am glad that Indo is leading the way now (I did enjoy it much more than I expected!), but a bit surprised that VN is also leading too! VN is indeed one of my places I hope to tick off, but I'm not so crazy about it...yet... Probably cos I have not been there before. But I am sad for Cambodia that nobody has voted for it yet!Sleep, little one, close your eyes, mother will sing you a lullaby... Sleep in a jewel cradle, sleep, mother will rock you.
If you don't sleep the midges will go for your eyes and pollen will fall on the cradle....Sleep, close your eyes...
