Oh, that explains... It will be nice if someone will do a M.R. on Vietnam in the future. We don't seem to see any yet...

I think I will find Laos as my favorite if I visited there, because I note people from there seem to like the music I like...

Oh cool, Laos is leading the way now 555

Trangam, do u mean the lukthung kind of music? I feel lukthung rocks, and I don't really care that there are many people out there who just cannot stand the seemingly mournful messages of lost love, rural and urban poverty, and dashed dreams!

Re: What's r Fav SEA Country After Thailand?

My choice is Singapore. My reasons are:

    1) I like the fact that I feel so safe there even when I travel solo.

    2) It is squeaky clean.

    3) There's a wide variety of local and international cuisines readilly available all over the place.

    4) I trust the hygienic practices of food handlers.

    5) The transport system is VERY reliable.

    6) English is widely spoken, which allows me to move around on my own quite independently. Also, I don't have problem with Singaporean accent.

    7) From my end, the location of Singapore is conveniently "along my way" enroute to such countries as Australia, Europe, and the Middle East, and that enables me to save $$$.

    8) No visitors' entry visa requirement for me for a short stay.

    9) I have a few favorite spots there ( Orchids Garden, Clark Quay, Sentosa Island) which I don't mind visiting over and over again.

Franklin D. Roosevelt - The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.
