what is this smoking instrument called ?
hi all,
ever seen a smoking instructment with a long pipe for you to suck and blow out.
i remember it call parakut or something with different fruits faavour for you to try out.
anyone has the thai writing for it ?

It is called a "hookah". Very popular in Mid-Eastern countries where many people gather to relax smoking a "hookah" - I guess the equivalent to having a beer at a pub!

That's why I have never tried it before, and I also hate the feeling of smoke in my lungs *Urgh!* Never has like smoking and never will. Although when my ex-colleague described the apple flavour she tried with her brother and friends at Arab St, there is a bit of vague temptations cos it is apple flavour after all!

One question here, does hookah give the same addiction as cigarettes? The theory is about the same right? Smoking through the lungs?

It was actually an illegal drug in Australia, but the Australian government is spineless and let muslims get away with anything they want.
Also cigarettes have something like 60% tax on them in Australia, it's about time they taxed Muslim recreational drugs in the same way.
