Re: Divorce In Thailand
Sisaket, hope your daugher is coping well through all these.
Sleep, little one, close your eyes, mother will sing you a lullaby... Sleep in a jewel cradle, sleep, mother will rock you.
If you don't sleep the midges will go for your eyes and pollen will fall on the cradle....Sleep, close your eyes...

Re: Divorce In Thailand
Source: http://www.chiangmailaw.com/divorce.htmIf you are married but your spouse does not agree to a divorce in Thailand you will need to obtain a judgement from the Court. You need a lawyer for these steps BUT YOU MUST APPEAR YOURSELF IN PERSON. You cannot remarry until this has been allulled. Judgement for divorce is granted only if the application is based on any of the 12 grounds for divorce & becomes effective at the date of final judgement & must be registered at a District Office or Thai Embassy.
I can only assume from comments on the Forums every time this subject comes up that members here know better than the various Thai law firms that both parties must be present to effect a divorce registered in Thailand.

Re: Divorce In Thailand
Have you contacted the Thai consulate in Hull to see if they can assist with this? They must have had this same enquiry in the past.

Re: Divorce In Thailand
Yes because if you only have one, they might consider you as there de facto husband attempting to put you under there thumb, if you've got some more lined up it keeps them on there toes and they know where they stand. Lets put it this way, there not going to exploit a free dinner out of you if they know they can be easily replaced by treating you in such a disgusting manner.
Woman don't need to have there entertainment expenses subsidised by men and I'm sore not going to let them get away with blackmail.

I would be grateful if we didn't have yet another thread about Paul's exploits... just saying this as a regular member, I don't have any authority over anyone :-)
