I was wondering if you can tell me how you translate this : àµçÁ·Õè¡ÑºªÕÇÔµ

Actually I did translate myself from english to thai, but I want to be sure that my translation is correct, so please tell me what it does say for you.

English is not my Mother Language so I am not sure what a similar English Expression would be; but it is something like:

"Live your Life to the full" , like you should enjoy and live your Life with everything you have and always give a 100%

Word-by-Word-Translation would be:

àµçÁ·Õè = to the full

¡Ñº = with

ªÕÇÔµ = Life

In English that could be interpreted as "I am fed up with life"!! but in Thai it may as you say mean "live life to the full"

Looks like "full of life" to me, but I don't know how a native Thai would interpret it. I know that àº×èͪÕÇÔµ means "bored of life" or roughly "I'm tired of this life", if that's what you're looking for.

This thread looks a lot like one where a foreigner wants to get a catchy kewl-looking Thai script tattoo. ..

Be that as it may; I'll just say, remember many things expressed in English which are "felt" (carry emotional meanings) or use "idiomatic expressions" cannot be translated word for word directly into Thai because they come out as pure gibberish or meaningless Thai.

If you're going for a "Full of Life", or "Live Life to the Fullest" sort of meaning, you could use a line from a àÊ¡ âÅâ« (Sek Loso) song called à·èÍÂèÒ§ä·Â (roughly; "Cool like Thai People"). He wrote it for an M-150 energy drink commercial, but it turned into a BIG hit of his.

The line is; äÁèÁÕÅÔÁÔµªÕÇÔµà¡Ô¹ÃéÍÂ. Sort of like; "No limits in life, more than 100%" <- the last part is a direct reference to the drink M-150 (because 150 is more than 100). I’d imagine you could just use the first part ; äÁèÁÕÅÔÁÔµªÕÇÔµ as a “No limits in life” sort of meaning.

Now if you're going for a "bored with life", the previous poster who said àº×èͪÕÇÔµ is correct. I use that phrase a lot to explain to Thais 'retirement' ain't all it's cracked up to be.

If this is for a tattoo, remember to run it past as MANY native Thai speakers (instead of foreigner learners of the language) as you can. DON'T 'lead' them to the meaning you want because "true to Thai culture" they'll agree with you rather than tell you to your face, what you've got is just gibberish in Thai and makes no sense. ..

I think sounds better and precisely with the explaination by Tod,i just wonder how could he understand thai pretty gud even he's been in thailand about 7 years. Sometime we can use it in the situation when someone got messy in the life,such as "bored with fickle of GF....." Tem ty laev!!! I heard " Koo Tem Ty Kap Chivit Laev" somebody said like this come to the conclusion he or she have to much pressure in life,stress and wants to commit suicide.

It's thai idiom! How it can be apply to the graphic design ? Seems the word have it's boundry or limited for use particular situation?????????

I think she does her college project. All we know, people say that Thai letters are very appealing to see. That maybe why she chose to put a Thai idiom.

In graphic design you usually have a free hand to use any images --be it a lines, photographs, splotches, letters, words, interplay of colors, chiarascuro--or anything you can play around with to depict the theme in an artful way.
