    HIghway 7 Chonburi To Pattaya

    Hello...I need some information on highway 7.does it passable for motorcycle

    There is no highway 7. Route 7 is a motorway and to the best of my knowledge motorbikes are not allowed on Thai motorways.

    Is that because most motorcycles in Thailand are low powered commuter motorcycles which are not capable of doing motorway speeds. But what about if you used a very powerful motorcycle, what's the excuse there.

    That's a good point, I don't know the reason but motorbike can't use the motorway. I think Google maps has a lot to answer for because the road in question is labelled Bangkok-Chon Buri Motorway and National Highway No.7 but whatever the name is, the interesting point is that I've never seen a bike on that road so it's one of the few rule that bikers actually obey!
    Half of them never wear helmets, they all use flyovers (which is disallowed) despite it being a real danger as other motorists overtake, and most bikers ride on sidewalks and the wrong side frequently.
