Oh no. I like it, too. The Thai recipe, that is!
And yes, I get the joke.

Re: leaving on a jet plane
Hi
Oh No back to reality and the cold sucks.
Back home in Idaho USA Got off the plane to -5 c home to a cold house but a warm (mad) cat
Left Roi-et on friday night 7 hr bus ride to Bangkok I forgot how busy big and hectic Bangkok is. living in Isssn is so peaceful while bangkok is hectic. spent Sat with step daughter and wife shopping (oh Joy) put wife back on bus to Roi-et at 8:30 pm then I went back to hotel to shower and head to airport for my late night flight. it cost me more for a snack at airport then the taxi ride to airport.
this flight seemed very long I had a 9 hr layover in Seoul but the airline comped me a room so got 5 hrs of sleep lunch and a nice shower between flights.
it always amazzes me back home after almost a month and nothing seems to have changed it is like I never left the whole last month seems a long time ago but is was only a few days. maybe it is that my wife is still in thailand.
I got the food stuff my wife packed in my baggage thru customs Fresh bamboo and dried fish the bamboo was cooked I declared everything customs looked said no problem. the customs and immirgration were really friendly and nice in Seattle except for one lazy [Moderated]
there is always one his only job was too take custom form and tell you to put bag on conveyor belt to go thru x-ray the belt went up about 3 ft and if you didn't put your bags on at a 90degree angle they slide back down he wouldn't left a finger to help just yelled at people in front of me was a small asian girl her bags were sliding back down and she couldn't understand him I started to go help but he yelled at me to stay in line she finally figured it out after a few mins and him yelling. she was almost in tears what a nice welcome to a new country.

Re: leaving on a jet plane
Hi Khonrai
Enjoyed your posts of your recent visit here in Thailand ... Its good to hear an account of things that are not on the tourist route. What came across is that if your married to a Thai ... And you are not in a tourist area ... You can live here very cheap ... An example of your meal cost ... Is very near the same for me. I live in Chonburi Town ... I rarely see another Westerner ... I still get the stares and people still like to touch me when I walk round the market ... Apparently they think it brings them luck !!! We often jump on the scooter at night ... Never go far ... But eat at different places ... Ok they look a bit basic .. But the food is always good .. And if I've spent 200 baht .. That's about the most I've paid ... Well you can't beat it.
Only one little criticism ... Post 30 ... Where you mention farang's looking serious and not smiling !!! Check your photo out

Re: leaving on a jet plane
Hi
I think I look happy and serene not at all serious.
especially after climbing up to the top of the spire
I was just glad I was still breathing
Plus I take bad pictures I never smile in any pics of me.
