Here in the states your wireless carrier has many embedded programs and applications which use a lot of battery power and consume a lot of data always running in the background and you can not delete them. You can root your phone if you are a little tech savvy or join an android forum and they will walk you through the process. This will allow you to take control of your phone and delete programs and applications you do not want. One big advantage of doing this is you will only use half the data you normally use and your battery life will be much greater and a lot of junk ads will no longer appear on your phone.
