If you choose to quote me, quote me! I refered to him as "the designated newspaper guy". Khun Don has, forever, posted articles that he thinks may be of interest to this forum. Whether "official", or not, it seems to be his calling and has been accepted for quite some time. But, maybe we should change this if it upsets you.

Re: Bangkok bomb, foreigner injured
I appreciate your logical post as it comes down to revenge, yes as a very simplistic out look that is true, but the situation is a lot more complex than that. Blaming the USA & it's allies in just not on. The reason for this, blockade is for international security. The Iranian government has publicly announced hatred of Israel and threatened inhalation of that country, so you think the allies should just allow this to happen. About it having nothing to do with religion, that is bunkan, the Iranian government has publicly announced the hatred of a Jewish government in there so called Islamic territory, remember the Jews lived in that location 5 thousand years ago and have always had a right to live there, until they were pushed north into Europe because of religious hatred, you can say there defending the state of Palestine but the Israelis were willing to live in peace with the Palestinians who are mostly Muslim, party christen until Palestinian separators started attacking Israelis. The Iranian government uses propaganda about the hatred of Jews to inspire crazies to do it's dirty work in other countries. To say this has got nothing to do with religion is ignorance.
My apologies to the moderate Muslims is my previous statement as yous are not the real blame, but I really get hot under the collar when you do nothing, I do however think it would be in your interest to demonstrate peace and your willingness to get on with the Jewish people instead of just standing back, doing nothing and criticizing the wonderful country of Israel.
I have not told any one before but I have a Jewish Greek Grand parent who was a refugee, I have a special interest in this field because of the persecution of my grand father by religious crazies when he escaped into Africa and was tortured by these religious crazies, he told me all the stories, he was there and I'm disgusted at there inhumanity based on a belief in God.
The moderators can ban me if they like for this post, but I won't lie for anyone, I'm a man of principal and will always support the under dog.

Re: Bangkok bomb, foreigner injured
I like having news from Bangkok Post here in the forum. If I don't want to read the entire article, then I don't. I haven't felt the need to go directly to the newspaper's site in a long time.
I like seeing new members come into the forum and add new life and a bit of fun.
And Paul? long sigh . . . . You're about to be sent to your room with no forum connection.
To misquote a very infamous American: 'Why can't we all just get along?'

Paul, exactly how many Muslim blogs and newspapers do you read so that you are so sure that they don't renounce violence and don't state how upset extremists and terrorism make them??

Re: Bangkok bomb, foreigner injured
Well I guess if they are renouncing violence, it does not get much publicity, if you showy me a blog I will read it
Like I said I don't blame moderates, that's why I apologized to them, most Muslims are very good people, I have many Muslim friends and I question them all the time on this subject and when I ask them about these crazies, they tell me there not real Muslims because there not practising peace, they tell me Islam is a religion or peace and these crazies may claim to be muslims but are not to my moderate moslem friends,. It's the fundamentalists radicals that need to stop all this hate.Last edited by paul_au; 15-02-12 at 07:07 PM.

"The Iranian government has publicly announced hatred of Israel and threatened inhalation of that country, so you think the allies should just allow this to happen." Given the way that Israel behaves toward Iran, I don't blame them for hating Israel. Making treats and actually doing anything about it are separate matters. The North Koreans make threats against the U.S. all the time, but they haven't mobilized against us. It's kind of a "sticks and stones" thing. It is, indeed, the U.S. and Israel who have drawn first blood in terms of commiting acts of overt aggression against Iran. No good can come of this kind of foreign policy. The U.S. joined the second world war to rid the world of tyranny and imperialism. How is it that we have now become the biggest global imperialist tyrants?
Life is learning. If you stop learning, you might as well be dead.
