Re: Grand Slam!!!

every time I see the title of this post I chuckle
Grand Slam
I think of Dennys Breakfast.
It's an american Restuarant chain that serves a breakfast special called "grand slam"
I have no idea what it means in england I assume it deals with some sort of sport.

Yes Congratulations to Wales, a deserved Championship. Well Done England too after last years disappointing World Cup, a new team is born and destined for future Glory.
Poor old Scotland, are they crap at Everything these days ?

Re: Grand Slam!!!
Not quite ... They have the best tennis player I've seen from British soil ... And I'm convinced he will bring a major home before long.
Yes wales deserve the glory ... They have a good team at the moment ... And was unlucky not to make the final of the world cup late last year ... As for England ... Well at last they have moved away from the team of 2003 ... So like you wolfy ... I think good things are coming.

Re: Grand Slam!!!
I forgot about Andy Murray. You are right. I too think he'll win a big one soon. There's Paul di Resta too, in Formula One, very talented driver but in a hopeless car so no chance of ever winning anything. There's also that bloke Dario Franchetti in Indy Car Racing, he's been a Champion several times and he's married to Ashley Judd.
So to answer my own question Scotland aren't crap at everything, just team sports.
Mrs Franchetti...
