Thailands Olympic Team

Just wondered if Thailand are sending much of a team over for the Olympics and what chances they had of getting any medals ?

I see they are going to have their training camp in Manchester (It always Rains in Manchester).

The Thai Women's Beach Volleyballers picked up 2 medals at the 2010 Asian Games, wonder if they might get a medal on the World stage/Beach ?

I suppose their training camp will be in somewhere like Blackpool seeing as Manchester hasn't got any beaches.

Has Thailand got a team in the Football event ?

Thailand were knocked out of the football in the first qualification round by Palestine after fielding an ineligeable player.

If I remember right last Summer Olympic Games Thailand got some Medals in Boxing and Women Weight Lifting.

And if memory serves me well a medal in Taekwondo too.

Not sure where they will train ... Must admit they are holding the event in a strange location .... Horse Guards Parade !! Right in the political centre of the UK. Obviously will be shipping some sand in for the event .....
