Storms warning for Mar 25-26

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning to many parts of the country that summer storms will strike frequently on Sunday and Monday.

It said a moderate high pressure area has extended its ridge to cover Thailand and the South China Sea.

Hot weather is likely to cause summer thunderstorms with heavy showers, gusty winds and hail in upper regions of Thailand.

People in the North, the lower Northeast, the East, the Central Plains, including Bangkok and its surrounding districts, should take precatuions for the two days.

Later on Monday, easterly winds will move to cover the South and cause widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain with strong gusts.

Its been overcast the past couple of days ... But not a bit of wind ... Will wait and see if it gets bad tonight ... The garden could certainly do with a drop of rain !!

There was a pretty good cell passing through parts of the city. First spotted it from La Villa, Ari. We were hit with some substantial rain around Klong Toei.
