This photo seems to be popular online, I thought maybe you guys would like to see it.

Some friends I made during my visit to the Khao Lak Tsunami relief village, a few days before the 7th anniversary of the Boxing Day disaster.



The Thai Police and Army organised 35 single storey houses to be built, shortly afterwards the King of Thailand built approximately 65 two storey houses at the same site. There is now a school and some small shops making up the village.

I was at Khao Lak labouring 5 months after the tsunami and again a year after that. It was a wonderful introduction to Thailand.
