Most of all is Chat-Style, many misspelled Words (Chat-Style) and some Typos as well - so that's probably the main reason why you couldn't figure out what it means.

I think you used some Translating Tools, so most of what you translated is wrong.

I think that you are spying on a Chat-Record of other persons and that you don't have Permission to Post this here, therefore I think nobody should help you to translate this.

Why don't you just ask the person who send you this what it means.

I always wonder why somebody would send something in Thai to somebody who can't read Thai - so surely you are spying, otherwise just ask the person who send you this.

i know that it sound a bit spying. but actually i tried to chat with a exchange student who totally cannot speak english at all. So what I can do is to ask people for help and translation engine.

And no offense, please don't be so sure 'so surely you are spying' before you find out the truth. As i really work so hard to help my thai classmate.

Re: Help !!! Do I translate it correctly?

I've seen a HUGE increase in posts of this nature on all the forums about Thailand.

Some are innocuous, some are not. Most all are "web-rips" off social media pages or copies of chat 'transcripts'.

The inability to translate this thru most online systems is due to the use of "chat-speak-thai"; where the spelling is changed to either facilitate faster typing, or to convey emotive value. Even if a person can read "regular thai" quite well, making sense out of "chat-speak-thai" can be really tough. It's especially tough with just bitz & piecez of it because readers don't know how many people are chatting, what the topic or the context is.

If in fact this is a genuine request for help, (as opposed to someone spying) I'd tell your "friend" to type/talk to you in "real Thai" (as it's really written versus "chat-speak-thai"). Certainly, they'd do that to facilitate 'chatting', and the some of the online translation sites "Bing", "Google Translates", etc would yield better results.

    While my Thai language skills are questionable; perhaps this sentence might get the point across to your "chat partner";
    ต้องพิมพ์ดีดไทยถูกต้อง เพราะว่าภาษาวิบัติ มันแปลเรื่องไร้สาระเลย
It translates roughly as; Must type Thai correctly because non-standard language (chat-speak) translates as total nonsense. ..

    Good Luck

Re: Help !!! Do I translate it correctly?

That was a good advice, Tod-Daniels!

I used to erroneously think that every Thai word -I mean when written in Thai script, not transliterated-could only be spelled in one prescribed manner. And because my knowledge of Thai is very limited, I wouldn't be able to recognize it unless it is correctly spelled.

But it was pointed out to me that not all Thais could spell right! And besides that, the advent of 'chat-speak' helps proliferate 'misspellings'! I guess this is similar to 'chat-speak' in English where one might write, " Wassup, wat r u doing 2day? C u l8r!"
I always like to advice language learners to stay away from this kind of writing if they want to learn the standard language, especially if they need to for academic or professional purposes.
