LP Koon -how to arrange for transport

    Hi,

Can someone advise if you have the contact for the transport to LP Koon?

I heard that need to get transport from the temple assistant then you will get the priority to see LP Koon. If not, it might be a wasted trip.

Re: LP Koon -how to arrange for transport

It's never a wasted Trip - I went there myslf at least 10 times already and every time I had the chance to see him, 3 times even in a Private Room.

But lately he is ill many times and stays in Hospital so I am not sure that there is a chance to see him regularly.

But I think arranged Trips which advertise that you only have the chance to see him when you travel with them - they are a rip-off.

Best would be to rent a Taxi on your own from Bangkok for the whole day, about 1,500 - 2,000 Baht, depends on your bargaining.

Here is the Address for the Driver in English and Thai:

    Temple Wat Ban Rai
Tamboon Kut Phiman, Amphoe Dan Khun Thot
    Changwat Nakhon Ratchasima

    วัดบ้านไร่
    ต. กุดพิมาน , อ. ด่านขุนทด
    จ. นครราชสีมา

Best thing would be also to call the Temple before going if Luang Phor Khun is there, but I am not so sure if the following Numbers are still up-to-date as I haven't used them for a long time:

    Tel.: 044-257740 or 044-253113

Anyway even when you don't have the chance to see Luang Phor Khun the Trip is worth a visit (beautiful Temple) and there are many other things to see in and around Khorat.

If you want more Infos just ask.
