Re: Converting an area under house into Living Quarters

Do you like the idea of living comfortably in a beautiful home, and at the same time never again having to pay utility bills? Soontorn Boonyatikam, professor of architecture at Chulalongkorn University, has designed a home which is just that.

That's odd. It works fine from here, all away across the globe! Maybe if you google 'soontorn boonyatikarn' it will magically appear.

Re: Converting an area under house into Living Quarters

Hi wolfy! now I'm start building the house for my own adjacent to the capital city in my country, cost more expensive than " Project" at your wife's house in Thailand, it's my plan in the future also, I was thinking and collected some of the pics but it's not the agenda to promote it here. At my new house i used piling foundation conservative for the future plan building 2-3 stories.
The same as your project is my prospective in the future,if I'm receiving any blessing i'll do it at my y village. I never seen the construction building in Thailand ever used the heatclay bricks( hollow or solid) as here, the blocks were using everywhere to build the houses at Thailand,it're rare to see it here except to build the fence. Even the tall building scyscrap still using the bricks to build it.
