Please help i have made stupid mistake

Hi everyone. I made a stupid mistake and got the following name tattooe'd ( tania or tanya ). Thia was a mistake and i was hoping someone might know how to change it to something else using the existing letters/symbols.

Have attached photo as a guide. If anyone can help would greatly appreciate it.

I would not worry yourself, only a thai would read it, or any falang who can read thai and would not really think or say anything as is just a name,
it looks ok and no different to guys who have Japanese tattoos. i cant see any reason to try to alter it,

as where it is on your arm you cant see it anyway, and if people give positive responses to it, and ask what it means just say a good friend who's not with us anymore.no one will say anymore out of respect, enjoy as its there for life now.

Yep, that definitely looks like a mistake. .. .

Thankfully, Thais make up less than one percent of the world's population. It's highly unlikely you'll run into a Thai national or anyone who can actually read Thai outside of Thailand. Although I’d stay away from the "Asian towns" where chinese, thais vietnamese and other asians seem to "clump" together when they resettle in foreign countries.

Sadly, I hafta disagree with "Ian71", it ain't exactly an unobtrusive tat, and EVERYONE who looks at you will see it. Still, if they can't read Thai, I'd just feed 'em some cockamamie story and let it go. You're unlikely to change it into a "catchy Thai phrase", and if it's that much of a deal to you, I'd go get it professionally removed. ..

This ain't the first time a Thai tattoo came back and bit someone after the fact. I'm also pretty darned sure it won't be the last either. . .

Ian and Tod have given you some sensible advice. But if this tat really, really bothers you, you can have an artist add some ornate designs that will make the Thai letters unrecognizable. Embroidery books or arabesque calligraphy guides might give the designer an idea how to do it. But I can't see a way to transform the existing letters into a meaningful word or words.

If you find an Tattoo Artist who can change the ญ่ from the Word ธันญ่า into an ว and then at the end add a คม you will get the Word ธันวาคม which means in English the Month "December" 5555555

My thoughts exactly Marie.

My brother had a tattoo of his wife's name put on his upper arm. They divorced when his daughter was three and he raised her. Many, many years later his adult daughter and I were laughing about some tattoo mishap story she had told me. I said "at least that person didn't have the name of his x tattooed on him like your dad.' She got a very puzzled look on her face and said 'Dad doesn't have a tattoo of mom's name. He has a tatto of sunflowers.'

maybe with some creative license (unequal size of words, added graphics to distract), you could change the spelling to : ปัญญา. or you could make a point, by running a traditional sword through this name....
