Re: Need help in Thai Language
guess, when you ask if someone can help...its quite a huge 'help'
so most people not sure how to extend their support. Probably, when you go around the net and your books and in the learning process pose more specific questions, someone would find it easier to support?
Never hit someone below the belt; for you are not the creator.

Re: Need help in Thai Language
If you want to learn how to speak I suggest that you find a Language School or a Private Teacher at the Philippines - should be around there too.

Re: Need help in Thai Language
I agree with Djaidee that the only real way to learn Thai is with a teacher.
I tried teaching myself for two years and managed to learn some really persistent mispronunciations. You can read blogs about Thailand at - www.Thai-Blogs.com

Re: Need help in Thai Language
In my experience, as one who is a Filipino too, there's hardly any Thai teacher locally, or you would rarely find one. So the best way is to learn online. About the expected mispronunciations, it would always happen and the best way to pronounce it right in the future is to find a Thai friend, go to Thailand, or to find the right pronunciation on a dictionary with an audio.

Re: Need help in Thai Language
Or I think there is even help offered to communicate via Skype, MSN etc.
This way you can hear the right pronunciation of Words and also can be corrected by the Thai person via such services.
Just look around in some Thai Forums, Thai Friendship/Dating Websites - should be easy to find some persons to communicate.
I think I have seen such services in the past, many even offer those services for free in exchange for learning English. My interesting blog about Thailand at Thailand Blog ---> click here
