Could as well mean he had 7 girl friends already, or he run over some animals with his car or whatever, or like in the very famous German Fairy Tale "The Valiant Little Tailor" were he makes a Belt with the Phrase "Seven at One Blow"- just the most stupid Tattoo ever.

I don’t have any tattoos myself but I do like the look of them and I really like the Thai traditional tattoos that you can get for a few hundred baht and a lot of pain

That tattoo down the spine looks ok to me, it is nicely done and really, it is up to him what he gets.

In the last few years in Australian Rules football (not the round ball game) there has been a huge increase of tattoos.

I agree with Marie ‘The only thing I'd say is that persons having tattoos in them should bear in mind that they are not for the fickleminded.’

Thanks a lot, now I understand, some words need to be combined, single word will make another meaning.

You mean the pain has no extra charge? How nice!

Re: Is this phrase Thai ?

That easily ranks up there in the list of the most meaningless Thai script tattoos I've seen.

Now don't get me wrong, it's catchy, and certainly meets the "kewl-ness factor" most people who get Thai script tattoos look for, but it's just plain meaningless to anyone but the person sporting it.

I also like the O/P's statement; "I heard that they are ancient Thai words, something relates to Buddhist." That’s really just too cute for words.

Few if any foreigners get Thai script tattoos which have anything to do with buddhism, (other than those Sak Yants, which tattoo parlors aren't supposed to be inkin' on foreigners all that much anymore due to "poor placement" choices foreigners make when requesting them).

I totally concur with the extremely large font post which says, "Think BEFORE you ink". While tattoos aren't as permanent as they once were given the advances in tattoo removal. The last thing you need is a nonsense Thai script tattoo.

About the only thai tattoo I think is appropriate for foreigners here is one called a "thai tattoo" but in reality is a muffler burn because tourists don't know how to sit pillion on a motorbike without burning the inside of their calf on the exhaust. That one is totally okay in my books for foreigners to have and to wear proudly. Google “thai tattoo” and see the horrific burns foreigners have from them. . ..

Oh, when people ask me about a Thai tattoo, I always recommend äÍ-áÍçÁ-àÍ-ÃÕ-°ÒÃì´ If a Thai read it aloud it would sound very close to the English phrase "I am a retard". Still, looks catchy and meets the “kewl-ness factor” too, don't you think?
