ขนาด
Would like a few examples (provide more than one sentence) of how to incorporate the word ขนาด into my sentence when I request a specific size of beverage or food item from a food vendor/cashier/etc..
I will use McDonald's for my example. If I requested a large Coke, I would say something like ผมเอาโค้กแก้วใหญ่ which is understood ̣(may or may not be correct, but the Thai listener understands what I am trying to say most of the time).
However, my tones are not always correct and that Thai listener may not know if I mean ใหญ่ or ไย or ยาย etc..
I would like to incorporate the word ขนาด in the sentence so they will know I am trying to say the size. I would say something like ผมเอาโค้กแก้วขนาดใหญ่
This may be wrong, so looking for some examples of the correct way to say this. Not looking for an overly formal way and want to stick with a sentence that is common as it will increase my chances on being understood. Also, would like to incorporate the number of items in my sentence. Like for example, I would like 2 large Cokes. However, I still want to include the word ขนาด.

Re: ขนาด
You can leave out the ขนาด, otherwise you will sound artificial like a Farang - notice that Thais tend to leave out Words, shorten something whenever there is a possibility and when it is clear what you are talking about.
Even if you hit the wrong Tone for the Word ใหญ่ in your example sentence, I bet that you always will be understood - because what else could you ask for when combined with the 2 Words โค้ก and แก้ว, every Thai would intuitional know that the other Word has to be ใหญ่, no matter you mispronounced it or not.My interesting blog about Thailand at Thailand Blog ---> click here
