How to use the price of an item to identify it?

In this example, we can say a farang is at a clothing market. He or she sees a large t-shirt. They want to purchase this item, however, they are on a hanger that is out of reach. Therefore, they must tell the vendor what they want. However, they can't simply say they want a large t-shirt because there are multiple large t-shirts with different prices. So they must specify the price in order to identify the t-shirt they want to purchase. Here is the sentence I would currently use. Please look at it and correct it for me, thank you.

ผมขอเสื้อยืดตัวใหญ่หนึ่งร้อยบาทครับ (I would like the large t-shirt for 100 baht.)

I don't quite get it what you are talking about

I would just point at the T-Shirt that interests me and say that I want to take a look, then I can take a close look at the price on the hanger and decide if I want this Shirt or not.

Or I can just tell from the start by pointing at the Shirt that I want that one, then the bargaining can begin.

Re: How to use the price of an item to identify it?

djaidee, thanks anyway, it was a complicated question (the way I worded it). I asked one of my employees and they told me my sentence was correct (surprised me as I really didn't feel comfortable about the sentence).

I was basically asking for a large t-shirt and using the price as an identifier. In tthis case I wanted the higher quality (100 baht) large t-shirt (as apposed to the 50 baht t-shirt, etc.). They had t-shirts for different prices, so this was a way to call out a specific t-shirt without having to physically point or hold the t-shirt. It is a question in a list of exercises my secretary has made for me. She intentionally made the questions very tough so as to make me think and in turn, improve my Thai language.

I appreciate your replies, you are the only person in the forum who has replied to my last 2 questions. I just clicked "Thanks" under your post.

I would do the same as you, Djaidee, especially the haggling part. However, let me try to explain in my own words what Nakriian seems to want to do, according to how I understood them. It appears they would like to say something like this:

" May I have a look at that large-sized shirt with a tag price of 100 baht. "

PS- Pls take note that the OP and I seemed to have posted at almost the same time.

Here is one alternative from me.

ขอเสื้อยืดตัวใหญ่แบบที่ตัวละร้อยค่ะ (and maybe accompanying with pointing as djaidee suggested )

And if you just want to look at it first, you can say ขอดู instead of ขอ.

Re: How to use the price of an item to identify it?

My Thai resource person says the OP's sentence in Thai is correct, but a bit awkward and unnatural. If the OP's intention is to say that he or she wants to look at a shirt with the tag price tag of 100Bht, she suggests the following:

    ขอดูเสื้อยืดตัวใหญ่ราคา ๑๐๐ บาทหน่อยครับ

Sorry that I didn't understand it first hand as English is not my native Language

And thanks to Marie and Nymphaea for making it more clearer
