Toshiba 32 inch LED tv price in Bangkok

    Hello everybody,

I want to buy a Toshiba 32 inch LED tv from Bangkok. My parents will have to wait for their flight in Bangkok for like 1.5 hours while coming back from Australia.
This tv costs like 28,000 INR here in India. How much does it cost in Bangkok?

Is it possible for someone to go and buy this under 1.5 hours? If possible, where and how to reach there?

How are you going to get it back to India? It will not be let on the plane as hand luggage and by the time you have paid freight charges it will be cheaper to buy one in India. As an import, the price in Bangkok is likely to be as much as India if not more as there will be import taxes to pay at the very least.

I was going to say that. Time frame is too short, considering that you may have to go to town, transact, choose the unit, pay it, have it packed, go to the airport, etc.

There must be something going on with flat tvs for India. While I was checking in to leave, there were six or more Indians pushing trolleys with a flat screen on it. Some even had two. The boxes were about 1m by 1.5m. They would check in, and then proceed to the oversize baggage check in.
This may be why animalhe is asking about it. Hmmmm...
