Why don't we have an English song to Thai section?

For a laugh ... I tried to translate Old MacDonald had a farm into Thai. I renamed it "Old Chokchai"

I love it! The rythm is fairly similar too. Maybe มอที่นี่มอที่นั่น would sound better than ที่นี่มอที่นั่นมอ even though ที่นี่มอที่นั่นมอ is more of a literal translation from the English.

FWIW: It's REALLY hard to go from English into Thai and keep it even close to the melody, let alone have it rhyme too.

I've translated some of the rock band KISS's song lyrics into Thai. Now even as simplistic as KISS songs are; it's really tough getting anything which is close enough so a Thai would know what the lyrics said in English and have them fit the melody or rhythm of the song as well.

That's why most all the Thai songs translated into English by the various sites rarely "fit" the melody of the song when they're finished.

You can usually get the meaning, but rarely get the "meter"
