Fan-I know that Marie has reported the problem and it is currently trying to be fixed-but, so far as I know, what is causing the problem has not been found yet.

Re: Frequent & unusual logouts of chatters at TCB
I am glad to report that today TCB is behaving better. Fan, myself and other regulars have noticed that. We hope it continues like this. (Were touching wood, though.)

Re: Frequent & unusual logouts of chatters at TCB
I have not touched anything in anyway. I do think I know what the problem is however. I was in TCB for an hour or so testing the various problems it could be and FAN pointed out the same conclusion I came to. It is not the TCB engine that is forcing the log out, it is the forum engine itself forcing it. I am going to do a bit of research on the AJAX code involved trying to find the right solution before approaching Richard with the fix.
I don't want to offer a fix that only works 50% of the time for 50% of the users, just to jack up the system that works fine for the other 50%. Give me a few days please.
For now FAN and I both agree that in the forums when you sign in make sure the users have the 'Remember Me' box checked prior to signing in, that fixes most of it.
