I often spend a few hours in Lumpini park I love to wander around and watch the monitor lizzards and turtles. If I am luck I can catch them playing a game like volley ball but with there feet. It is so quick and they are very skillful. Its a graet place to just chill. For the energetic there are free exercise areas. It is always clean. I really enjoy it.

YES lizzards versus turtles. I have seen at the highway road end of the park a monitor eating a turtle. I had a poor photo which I have discarded. But youy are right, as you always are. I saw Thai men playing foot volley ball. Thank you for the correction.

On the curriculum of every Thai school at one time-possibly still is with many- as I have seen it being enthusiastically played on school visits on several occasions.

    Re: Bangkok4Free

I have only seen it at Lumpini but I guess that is because it is a public park. We were talking about free things to do and I think that the park is a great place to visit for free and a bonus would be to find the area that the game is played. I was really impressed with the speed skill and energy of the young men playing. I watche for ages.
