The health of Their Majesties the King and Queen is improving.

The King's latest X-ray scan showed no more subdural bleeding in his brain, the Royal Household Bureau has announced.

The Royal Household Bureau also said that Her Majesty the Queen is recovering after being diagnosed with a shortage of blood to her brain.

The Queen is no longer suffering from dizziness, has started to eat and her balance has improved, it said.

A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination did not detect any complications and royal doctors continue to provide Her Majesty with intravenous medication and physical therapy in order to bring her back to good health.

Her Majesty felt dizzy and stumbled as she took a walk at Siriraj Hospital on Saturday morning. She was diagnosed with a slight shortage of blood to the right side of the cerebellum.

The Royal Household Bureau also had good news about the King's health.

It said royal physicians had reported that the latest X-ray computerised tomography scan on Sunday night showed there was no further subdural bleeding in the left frontal area of the King's brain.

His Majesty is now able to eat and sleep well, the bureau said.

The King was diagnosed with minute subdural bleeding and experienced intermittent twitching of his right hand on the night of July 12.
