Anything is possible in Thailand, of course. However, could be just sloppy journalism-the BP has always been hot on this story, whereas other papers have not always supplied updates.

I remember a case a couple of years ago where factory workers were being cheated and underpaid by their employer. One woman took her timecard to the police as evidence to lodge a complaint and the police charged her for stealing her timecard...... that is how the elite and their money work in Thailand.

    Vorayuth pursuit ‘harmed’ by Interpol

    national March 18, 2018 01:00

    By THE SUNDAY NATION

REMOVAL OF RED NOTICE FROM WEBSITE WILL HAMPER BID TO BRING RED BULL HEIR TO JUSTICE

THE Interpol website’s removal of its red notice against Thai fugitive Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya, who was involved in a 2012 hit-and-run road incident in which a Bangkok policeman died, will negatively affect an international effort to bring him to justice, according to a senior Thai prosecutor.

While the Interpol matter is directly handled by the Royal Thai Police, Amnaj Chotichai, director-general of the Attorney-General Office’s International Affairs Department, said the red-notice removal should theoretically have no legal effect on the controversial case.

However, he believes the removal will make it more difficult to arrest Vorayuth due to the lack of international public information now available on Interpol’s website................
