    Sticky Rice Burgers from 7-Eleven

I just bought these sticky rice burgers at 7-Eleven. Has anyone tried them yet? There are supposed to be quiet good. Only 23 Baht each. You just pop them in the microwave for a couple of minutes.

Hi Richard, sadly back in the UK now, never noticed them but they do look worth a try next time im there, both family mart and 7-11's get so much of my business when im away, but sadly most of the frozen food is not up to much, the one with a omelet and thai curry and steamed rice is ok, bargain at around 40bht.

Would be lost without these places, wish the UK would learn that good price convenience stores is the way to go, not the over priced places we have now!
Landing at Heathrow WHS wanted 2.50 pounds(125bht) for 2, 600ml bottles of water as if it was a bargain! 1.30 pounds(65bht) for the cheapest single drink?

Hopefully they will carry the Jay version next month and we can get to see it in picture here.

Btw, Curt, you can speak Mandarin? ("bao" = bun)

    Sticky Rice Burgers from 7-Eleven

I had my first one for breakfast. Wasn't actually that bad. I put it in the microwave for 2 minutes which was probably a bit too long. Before, the sticky rice was hard but this softened it.

Even if we do, it will be at insane prices like S$5 or S$6 which I don't really think I want to fork out LOL ^^

    Sticky Rice Burgers from 7-Eleven

23 Baht is about the right price. Any more than that and might as well buy johk or noodles. BTW, at 7-Eleven they will microwave it for you.
