Price of iPhone 5 at MBK in Bangkok

The iPhone 5 will soon be officially released and as usual a day or two later they will be selling unlocked versions of the iPhone 5 on the grey market at MBK in Bangkok. This will either be this Saturday or Sunday. According to Blink7, he is expecting to be selling the iPhone 5 at the following prices:


16GB - 36,500 Baht
32GB - 39,500 Baht
64GB - 43,500 Baht


We don't know when Apple will be selling the iPhone 5 in Thailand but some reports say that it could be as early as the end of October 2012. Personally I don't think we will see it before November. Anyway, it shouldn't be too long. The official prices are expected to be much the same as the iPhone 4S. So, if you can, I would advise you to wait.

In pantip blog, it was strongly predicted 18 October iphone5 would be in Thailand.

Highly unlikely as it is always a Friday :-) Release date has been predicted to be 19th or 26th October. I think the latter.

Technically you are correct as the event will be at midnight on a Thursday but you cannot actually buy it until the clock clicks over to Friday.

I think they meant to be by Thai mobile network providers, not by Apple.

Yes, I know, but Apple dictates when they launch and also the prices. All the carriers will launch the same night. It will be a midnight party taking place on Thursday but you cannot buy it until after midnight. To be exact, its a party for the invited guests, the rest of the people have to stand in queue outside! I went last year and gatecrashed the party.
