Microsoft is going to end msn messenger very soon, and entirely replace with skype. I no longer use msn messenger since owning iphone/ipad as there are heaps of chat apps. And then big change when all friends became apple users too..so it seems now that apple built in apps ie. face time and imessage are just enough. Overseas and domestic calls cost has been saved a great deal.

Microsoft has already started to charge for extra services on Skype. In the States, one has to pay to share screens, formerly a free service. I can still share screen, free, from Thailand.
