    Koh Sichang

Koh Sichang or เกาะสีชัง is an island in Chon Buri, 12 km from the Sri Racha. This trip was planned few months ago with my Thai friend who wanted to take holidays with her Italian husband. We drove a car from Bangkok heading to Sri Racha, Koh Loi Pier where we parked the car and get on a boat to Koh Sichang. The boat trip took 45 min, run every hour from 6 am - 8 pm, cost 50 B/person. Pity, I forgot my decent camera lol so for this whole trip I used my phone to take pictures.

Fortunately, the sky for the whole trip was quite lovely.

From the pier, we could hire motorbikes (250B/day), or a skylab (3 wheels engine with driver; 250/550 B a day to go around the island). But we only took a skylab to take us to our booked accommodation, 60B for the trip. Charlie's Bungalow was where we stayed.

I find the fare quite cheap!! But that's good news. Is it the same price even for foreigners?

    Re: Koh Sichang

The island is quite small perhaps one night two days are enough to explore. We stayed 2 nights at this bungalow which was around 550 m from the pier, its location was good close to markets and shops, but distant from the beach. Next day we walked to the Old Palace, 1.6 km from our place.
