Re: The Emu story-Building a Home in Thailand (PHOTOS & VIDS)

Most of the rural Wats will have these walls which have most panels of different design. This is due to the families of a deceased person taking care of the construction. At the inside, is a receptacle for the remains of the relatives, and the outside has the names and dates of birth and dates, but not always. I have posted a photo earlier of the remains of my wife's parents, but I am not able to find it just now. The style may reflect the affluence, or state of mind of the families at the time. Ok, 30 minutes research has turned up the picture.

A Muay Thai tournament was held at the Chong Sagnam market complex. As with many name transliterations here, the spelling varies. It is pronounced "sarngyam" We went with some of my expat friends. A German from Phu Sing, An English man from Ban Pho Thong, and my Danish mate from our village. The time we were given was 10 am, but it was really 2 pm. Bugger. Back to my place for pre match drinks. Designated driver for our return, the German. Scary.

One Aussie, a Canadian, one Lao, Cambodian, and Thai contenders. Brutal. Strong performance by all of them. There were no losers in my opinion. Hard men.

The TV telecast was live, and I had 5 seconds of fame, as the camera came 2 metres from me pointed right at yours truly. For 5 second footage, the camera was on me for 15 seconds or more, waiting for air time. Oh, farang.

Sorry. I did have everything in line, but the edit functions are not available. Bugger. A mess.

And can't edit the reply. The two most important photos are not easily available. Bugger.

No problem. Clicking the two links brings up the photos immediately for me. What do you need editing?

I wanted the photos to show like the others. Never mind.
