    There were plenty of "dead leaf" butterflies about. This is the colors when they spread their wings

    Looks like it is in Chatuchak park. Certainly walkable, no? Think I might check that out in December. The fiancee is a bit of a budding photographer.

    Technically, it's across from Chatuchak Park. However, the area consists of a few parks that would make it seem like one big park.

    It could be a substantial walk from Mo Chit BTS / Chatuchak Park MRT. However, there are plenty of moto-taxis at those stations.

    Hopefully, you can cut across Chatuchak park. Google only maps out established thoroughfares.
