I normally use Mozilla 1.6 and did so in the past when visiting learningthai.com. It worked perfectly fine. I have not visited this site for a few months and now Mozilla breaks down when I try to read answers It's a pity because Mozilla is faster than Internet Explorer and I do not like changing browsers when visiting different websites. Is there anything I can change in the Mozilla preferences, so that it will work again?

I have just checked, what I can visit with Mozilla and what not:

    I can visit
    http://www.thailandguidebook.com/cgi.../ikonboard.cgi

But when I try to go further to the forums' webpages they show for not more than a couple of seconds and then the browser is shut down and the Netscape Quality Feedback Agent pops up. I tried several sub-forums and it is always the same

I also went through the learningthai.com pages and it is no problem to browse there, also other thailandguidebook.com-pages I can visit. It seems to be only the thailandguidebook.com-related forum

Apart from that, I have not faced any problems with Mozilla so far and I can visit virtually all websites on the Internet. So, it may not be the configuration of my computer?

I hope there is a simple solution? Open-source software is great!

I know the problem you are talking about I am fond of Mozilla as well. But I use IE for this site and the related sites.

The problem you are having is because Mozilla has no native support for Flash coding, animations, videos, or sounds. You can goto www.macromedia.com and try to find a Flash plugin for Mozilla but there are warnings all over the place saying that Mozilla will not support it flaw-free. When I tried the plugin it worked great for about 3 weeks. I really don't suggest it, it is full of bugs.

To be clear, are you only having problems with the forum pages? If that is the case then Stacker's suggestion of Flash problems is not true in this case. There are no Flash files on the forums. I am using Mozilla 1.7.2 at the moment on my computer. I have been browsing the forums for the last 10 minutes and haven't encounted any problems. Maybe you should try an upgrade?

Yes I appologize I mis-read the post. I do not know why there would be a popup on the forum, I have yet to encounter any except for when I get an Private Message from someone.

Here I am again, happily using Mozilla again . I have up-graded to 1.7.2 and everything is working fine.

By the way, with the old version 1.6 it was only the forums' pages breaking down....

Thanks very much for your help and the advice to up-grade!

Greetings to everybody and especially to all Mozilla users
