on = บน

A dog is sleeping on the floor. – สุนัขกำลังนอนอยู่บนพื้น
She is sitting on a chair. – เธอกำลังนั่งบนเก้าอี้
There is a painting on the wall. – มีภาพวาดอยู่บนฝาผนัง
What is it on the table? – มีอะไรอยู่บนโต๊ะ

in = ใน

A student is in the classroom – นักเรียนอยู่ในห้องเรียน
I live in Thailand – ฉันอาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย
There is some milk in a bottle – มีนมในขวด
What do you have in you hand? – คุณมีอะไรอยู่ในมือของคุณ

under = ใต้

A cat is under the table – แมวอยู่ใต้โต๊ะ
We are under the sky – เราอยู่ใต้ท้องฟ้า
Fish live under the water – ปลาอาศัยอยู่ใต้น้ำ
There is a boy under an umbrella – มีเด็กผู้ชายคนหนึ่งใต้ร่ม

from = จาก

I come from Thailand – ผมมาจากประเทศไทย
She is coming from the office – เธอกำลังมาจากที่ทำงาน
We will run from the house to the market – เราจะวิ่งจากบ้านไปตลาด

in front of = ข้างหน้า
behind = ข้างหลัง

He is standing in front of me – เขายืนอยู่ข้างหน้าผม
He is standing behind me – เขายืนอยู่ข้างหลังผม

The garden is in front of the house – สวนอยู่หน้าบ้าน
The garden is behind the house – สวนอยู่หลังบ้าน

I am sitting in front of the table – ผมนั่งอยู่ข้างหน้าโต๊ะ
I am sitting behind the table – ผมนั่งอยู่ข้างหลังโต๊ะ

with = ด้วย, กับ

We hear with our ears – เราได้ยินด้วยหู
I am writing with my pen – ผมเขียนหนังสือด้วยปากกา
I am playing with my dog – ผมเล่นกับสุนัขของผม
She is playing with her friends – เธอกำลังเล่นอยู่กับเพื่อนของเธอ
