Re: NACC set to investigate Prawit as lavish watch criticised on social media

What a completely ludicrous excuse......these watches were supposedly "borrowed from friends" and have since been returned. When was the last time any of us borrowed or loaned a watch?, much less a collection of many VERY expensive items? Next, he will be "borrowing" diamond studded undies.

The 23rd and 24th watches found by internet sleuths including the CSI-LA Facebook page are worth a total retail price of more than 30 million baht.

Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon claimed Tuesday that "all" 24 luxury watches belong to his friends, and said he will resign from the cabinet only if the national graft-busting agency decides there are sufficient grounds to pursue a case against him.

Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon's explanation for his collection of 25 luxury watches on Tuesday has failed to appease a questioning public but the onus is now on Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to take action and ensure the issue is dealt with transparently, critics say.

What the hell does trump have to do with any of this. Just haven't had a chance to bash in for a while? Had to get it out of your system?

Back on topic, one has to wonder if all the coverage of this "watch scandal" is simply a distraction ...

In the end, he is one of the "good guys". This is not going to get anywhere.

BTW, you forgot to add your signature "LOL"!

    Hi

It was an analogy I'm sure most people understood.

the same type of person that would believe trump is a genius. would also believe the watches were all loaned. Only a gullible goose stepping fool.
It's not funny quite sad actually

Four 'lenders' to be grilled over Prawit's watches

NEWSPAPER SECTION: NEWS | WRITER: POST REPORTERS

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) will question four people linked to the scandal over luxury watches worn by Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon.

NACC president Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit said Thursday the NACC has set the date for the questioning, which will be held at venues agreed upon by the individuals.

According to NACC procedures, the questioning can either be held at the NACC office or at other locations, Pol Gen Watcharapol said. But he did not give further details.

Naturally, no "friend" will tell a lie when questioned........ That would be dishonest.
