    Police commandos raided the Onoi Temple on Thursday morning to arrest its well-known founder and abbot, Phra Buddha Isara.


    The monk has been charged with illegal association for his role in the Peopleís Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) protests and the unauthorised use of the initials of the late HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej and HM Queen Sirikit in amulets.

    Phra Buddha Isara has denied the charges.The Criminal Court rejected his bail request out of concerns that he might tamper with evidence.........................

    This "monk" leads an army. This "monk" led the most violent episodes during the protests.

    Should have been made to disrobe years ago for his violent actions as a monk. The Sangha Supreme Council is obviously a joke!
