    Hi w-hung !

Very good choice!!! I visited Luang Pho Khun หลวงพ่อคูณ several times and every visit was a Highlight of my vacation in Thailand.

I give you the address of the Temple in English and Thai. It is in the Province Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). Show the address to a taxi-driver and I think he can bring you there.

    Temple Wat Ban Rai
Tamboon Kut Phiman, Amphoe Dan Khun Thot
    Changwat Nakhon Ratchasima
    Tel.: 044-257740 or 044-253113

    วัดบ้านไร่
    ต. กุดพิมาน อ. ด่านขุนทด
    จ. นครราชสีมา

From Korat drive the Highway 2 in West Direction. Then on the Street 201 in North Direction until you reach the District "Dan Khun Thot". Here you will find the Temple.
When I am right is Luang Pho Khun right now ill and stays in Hospital. To make sure you can call the above Numbers and ask.
Anyway the Temple is very beautiful and I have never seen such a Style again in Thailand.
    Have much fun.

Well, as far as I have experienced it is possible to rent any Taxi for a day. Due to the fact that most Taxi Drivers are Buddhists I think they would like to make this Tour since even many Thai People never saw Luang Pho Khun personally.
He is one of the best known and very famous Monks in Thailand.
Lately he was ill some times and stayed in Hospital, so I really don`t know how his condition is right now and if he stays at his Temple or not. Just call a day before you plan to go and ask at the Temple if he is there.

The Daily-Rate for renting a Taxi will probably be about 1000-1500 Baht or maybe a little bit more. Just ask any Taxi Driver if he will make the Tour and how much he wants.

    Hope that helps.

I would never give much on what a Tour Agency says, why you don`t just call the 2 Numbers I mentioned above. They belong directly to the Temple. I think nobody would know better where Luang Pho Khun is as the Temple Wat Ban Rai.
Maybe they can even tell you where he stays right now.

Yes, I think you have to speak Thai, but maybe they also understand English. If not just say:

    หลวงพ่อ คูณ อยู่ ไหม ครับ
luang por koon yoo mai krap
Is Luang Pho Khun there ?

    The answer might be:

    อยู่
    yoo
    He is here !

    ไม่ อยู่
    mai yoo
    He is not here !
