    thumbs up

If you are learning Thai, a good way to learn is to watch some Thai movies with English subtitles.

    Suriyothai - The Movie

Just bought the above that comes in 4 VCDs. Gosh, the thai spoken by Royalties during that era is so different! Even when they speak slowly (most of the time) I had to struggle to try to follow. Too bad no sub-titles at all. Wonder if present-day Thai Royalties speak the same way?

But a great movie nevertheless. Intend to try to understand it within the next few months (I mean what was spoken). Any tips on a good way to that?

There are some Versions of "Suriyothai" which have English Subtitle; have a look at the Link:

For other Thai Movies which don`t have English Subtitles, there are some good Thai Movies which you can order from Hong Kong. Most of these Versions have English/Chinese Subtitles.

Are there any Thai movies with Thai subtitles (sometimes intended for people with impaired hearing for example)?

    Thanks Djaidee.

I will check them out. I saw "Beautiful Boxer" which has some English with Thai subtitles and I learned a lot of new words and expressions from it.
