I really like this thread, and it is an excellent idea and very helpful for learning Thai. I hope you keep it going. Thank you!
If I could make one little suggestion though, I would ask if you could use a larger font for the Thai characters. They are a little small to be easily read by a beginner such as myself.

For me personally, i sometimes have little problems with the actual newsheadlines themselves. I would appreciate it if you could perhaps post a few of them too as i dont have much difficulty with the actual text.
