    thumbs up

    Hi Everyone,

I am from the sunny island of Singapore and I need some advise and help from you guys regarding the glorious city of Bangkok as I will be travelling there for my honeymoon. Please kindly help to answer some of my queries.

    1. I am planning to stay in the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel
which is along the beautiful Chao Phraya River but the
things I want to ask is that:-
    - Has anyone stayed in the above hotel before ? And can
anyone provide some feedback on its accomodation and
    service standard.
    - Or are there any other Hotels along the Chao Phraya River
    that anyone can recommend?

    2. Where can I actually obtain a amulet of the famous King
of Thailand - King Chulalongkorn in Bangkok as I
understand that there are many fake amulets out there in
    Thailand and even in Singapore.

    3. How many day and night bazaars are in Bangkok? My Wife
    is a shopping freak

    4. If we were to travel from place to place in Bangkok which I
understand has a bad traffic problem what are the other
transportation options that Bangkok has to offer?

Thanks guys in advance for all your time and effort in answering my questions!

With Best of Regards and Blessings.

    Hi mahashiva,

I am from Singapore too. Allow me to make some suggestions to your question 3 & 4.

Question 3: You can go to Pratunam on the day time, Chatuchak on weekends. For night time, you may go to Suan Lum Night Bazaar.

Question 4: Day time is always the traffic jam problem on weekdays. Traffic volume is lower at night time and on weekends. Take the BTS (their MRT systems) if you want to avoid jams. Quite a fun thing to take TukTuk at night time!

    Enjoyz.
