    limitation in editing post

    Hey there,

I want to know is there any limitations on editing post. I would like to edit my messages but I realise I couldn't do it.

    Please verify.

    Thanks.

    Cheers,
    smarty

Yes there is. Brand new users will not have editing rights initially. The userclasses will be getting a final revision over the next few days. However you are at 15 posts, so you will probably get your editing rights before we even get the files modified. Good question though.

Hi iGotNoTime, Good to hear you are making some changes. I can't edit my posts yet either (apart from on this testing area, I think). It's not a huge issue to me, but it is useful at times.

Mike notice that you and Smarty are both in the same usergroup. The group called 'Starting Out'.

Here is the promotion standard to go to the next usergroup class.

    Forum Regular
    = 50 posts + 60 day registration or 2,000 rep points.

So it is based on the number of posts you have and in addition you must have either been registered for 60 days, or gained at least 2,000 reputation points. Your rep points are already half there Mike.

Edited: Yes software, you just jumped in userclass from Starting Out to Forum Regular.
