Chinese temple - where is it?
Anyone know where this Chinese-looking temple is located? It appears on the main page at www.thailandguidebook.com but I can't find any reference to it.

It is the Phra Kaew Pavilion at Ancient City in Samut Prakan. It is based on drawings of a building from the Ayutthaya period.

are buildings at Meuang Boran mostly copies of actual existing buildings, or are some of them made up from elements characteristic of architecture in a specific era / region?

They are copies of buildings, representations of styles, buildings from mythology and the real thing that have been rescued.
