Can anyone direct me? I want to volunteer teach in Thailand 01/07-06/07. American "do good" organizations charge outrageous fees ($1000-$2000) to "place" you in a school. Also, there have been rumors of volunteers being placed in private schools who can well afford a teacher.
How do I find a list of schools in Thailand - ones that cannot afford a native English teacher- without paying a fee?

We know a school in Khon Kaen in the northeast of Thailand that is looking for teachers. They would give you a place to stay and a basic salary which is the same as Thai teachers. If you are interested then send me a PM.
