sell hip hop records/ manga dvd?

hi im going to thailand this summer with my little brother to spend about a month in bangkok. i was actually born there but i havent been in 5 years. anyway i was wondering if there are any shops shich sell hip hop lps (vinyl) and perhaps manga animation dvd's ? im hoping to get lots of cheap stuff but im afraid i wont find any of this specialist stuff unless i come prepared. thnks in advance

theres a good manga shop in MBK,on the cinema level next to the foodcourt,also on the floor where all the mobile phone shops are,theres another.

Regarding vinyl, I have a few friends that like to DJ on the side in BKK. They all beg me to buy them vinyl from the US not just because there is a better selection but it is by far cheaper to buy it in the US. I don't know how much they pay for them in BKK but the way they talk about vinyl, you would think it's gold.

yea,I agree forget about the vinyl,its way way expensive,you gotta remember its all imported,same applies for original manga dvd s.
You can buy good copy movies ,from most dvd sellers on the street or Pantip,they usually have a pretty good selection of the bigger manga movies,pay no more than 1oobht each though.

yeah i went last summer and i saw that original manga and vinyl is really expensive, so i just stuck to buying the copied cd's. also i went to the futura store, i can see your a fan from your avatar. anyway im going again this summer so if you know of any dope stores id appreciate it. i heard a new store called "manga playground" opened up and is supposed to have a lot of nice streetwear. anyway i think this time its gonna be all about clothes and sneakers.

nice site dude! yeah i knew most of those stores, but not the stussy ones. btw i was wondering about pricing at the Manga playground store, is it cheaper there? or more expensive because of import costs? btw that red5 hollidayrent apartment looks dope, i just might set myself up there this sumer when i go.

Mangas a good shop got loads of stuff in there,but hmmmm ,i say its still pretty pricey.Nothing much in the way of sneaks,but theyve had things like supreme decks,a stash deck i hadnt seen before,alot of medicom,bape watch ,sneaker pimps t`s and caps etc .But an example,they had a 1000% bearbrick from the recent 3 bears series(like leopard skin covered),that was about 700 quid,so you can see its not cheap.Interesting for a browse though .

i know of some other shops ,that ill shout you on pm about ,as and when i remember them !

You may get lucky while your there,the new Futura lines ,are due anytime now(as long as they can sort all the arguments that are going on at the minute),and they are suppossed to a big improvement on the first line that came out.

hmmm i guess im not that surprised about the streetwear prices, over here in holland they're pretty pricy as well, due to import costs. yeah i was lucky enough to cop alot of the first line of modified tees, so i hope there'll be lots of new stuff when i go in july (if those arguments you mentioned dont make it a john x yoko x beetles thing, lol). oh yeah it'd be really dope if you pm'ed me some more stores, i only know of the ones mentioned on your site and a few others (vault and kinky).

that reminds me, do you know whats up with that members only store on the top floor of MBK? is there a web site with stock and prices listed? i found someone who was going to take me last time but it was my last day and it didnt pan out en the end. i wasnt even sure about what they had (except for some supreme and bape stuff i saw throught the window) or prices, so in hindsite maybe it was better, cuz it might have turned out to be a waste of time for both of us.

Yea , i know the members only store in M.B.K(Re fill).Its not really a shop as such ,Its more of a `look and me ,and what i got `shop.Theres no website,cause they dont really sell anything in there.This shop has alot to do with ,why there may well not be a Futura shop in Bangkok for much longer.If you happen to come over all crazy,and start thinking about buying 1 of their paintings,take my advice,think twice!.
Have you been to YEAH?,thats worth checking for some legit stuff,expensive,but good selection.
