'Thai Chainese mixed blood' - it is something I can't understand. Why not get a sample of your blood analysed? Ask the analyst/pathologist/ chemist or whoever if the the blood is Thai, Chinese or mixed.

I think mixed blood doesn't LITERALLY mean blood is mixed? It's more like a general way of labelling people who've got parents of different countries/origins.

Im of Thai-chinese origin and from what i've observed, i'd say that Thai guys prefer people with Japanese/korean attributes (seriously, look at all those girls these days doing their make-up in a japanese/korean style - it's been the obsession for the past few years) and people with whiter complexions.

That doesn't mean they're completely oblivious to people of other origins though. I believe it's just the "in" thing for now.

Knowing english is an advantage though. Thai people in areas away from bangkok hold people who are asian and speak english with high esteem

just curious win win, what other factors are there (besides the whiteness of the skin) in the article which makes thai guys attracted to chinese girls nowadays?

Personally I think thats the only factor. But I do hear some Chinese Thai families only allowing their children to associate with Chinese Thai familes. I have a Chinese friend who had a short relationship with this Chinese Thai lady once and the lady told him that in the impression of most Chinese Thai families, they think the local Thai are lazy, poor and mostly drunkards. Her family specifically forbids her to have relationship with local Thai men.

Don't groan me if reading this hurts you. Thai people will understand what I said.

I see Bucky, I didn't realize that there was this distinction made by the population between Chinese Thais and local/ pure Thais. Is it true though that local Thais fit such a derogatory description? I'm plain Chinese myself and have met some local Thai guys who seem rather pleasant and presentable for the most part.

my thai friends(who living in thailand) like girls who has white or yellow skin because it looks cleanner that tan skin ^^

I heard a saying that thai guys like girls that are khao ขาว (white), suay สวย (pretty), muay ม่วย (chinese decent) and there is one more qualification but I wont say it here
