Pictures: Vegetarian Festival in Samut Prakan 2009 เทศกาลกินเจ

I have just seen a banner in town for this year's Vegetarian Festival in Samut Prakan City. It is held on 17th - 27th October 2009. I am trying to get a schedule now for the parade and other events. I will also post soon pictures from last year and a map of vegetarian restaurants and parade route.

Great; I can now pig out on veggie delights at Samut Prakan AND Yaowarat AND enjoy the sights and smells at Prakan's temple fair...

This is a map showing the locations of vegetarian food shops and also the parade. I am not sure about Racha Market this year as the temple fair will be going on at the same time.

May i know is it a walking distance from Loy Krathong Jay to Racha Market?

When they go to float the Krathong they have a mini parade from Rong Jay to the City Hall where they float it. Racha Market is nearer to the City Hall. I reckon 10-15 minutes.

Hi Richard, I don't know if it's my PC, but the map that you said to have been attached is not shown on the thread at all....

I believe that those people who still use that Internet Explorer browser (the slow one that invites a lot of viruses) often cannot see the maps. Firefox is not only faster but a lot better.

Are you using IE 7 or 8? From what i heard, IE 8 is still not stable. Maybe you lack of plug in eg. Adobe Flash Player or Java runtime.

=) Actually I can see all the photos and maps on TCB very easily/immediately all the time... Ytday is just a one off incident, strange... Cos rite after I post my comments, I can see the map the next time I go to this thread...

Maybe is the loading problem..just guessing only
